7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (every other weekend)
Job Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatment accurately for assigned residents.
Consult with physicians, receive, record and implement orders, and schedule appointments.
Document residents’ health changes via acute care nurse’s notes and shift change nursing reports.
Formulate plans of care for new residents and prepare all required reports and documentation.
Conduct daily rounds; observe and evaluate the physical and emotional status of assigned residents and take necessary actions to ensure their health and well-being.
Maintain equipment, supplies, and materials necessary for nursing care; consult with Nursing Supervisor/Unit Manager as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be licensed as a Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in Virginia.
Additional Considerations:
Nursing experience in a long-term care or adult geriatric setting.
