Responsibilities The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The nurse functions within the framework of the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth, and is accountable. Responsibilities include maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
Qualifications
Graduate of a nursing program
New graduates of a nursing program are eligible
Current registered nursing license in Georgia or NLC/eNLC multistate license
BLS certification required
For PRN positions: one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
Seniority level: Entry level
