Description The Clinch County Health Department is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the full‑time, salaried position of PH Registered Nurse based in Homerville, GA. As an RN with the SEHD, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.
Job Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols.
Deliver community health services in programs such as Women’s Health, Child Health, Adult Health, etc.
Assess client conditions, develop plans of care, provide treatments, educate clients, and refer clients to supporting agencies.
Record pertinent observations and treatment responses.
Adhere to protocols for vaccine administration and specimen collection, including COVID‑19 specimen collection.
Ensure safety precautions, HIPAA requirements, and accurate data entry.
Administer vaccinations during mass vaccination clinics or declared emergencies.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited school.
Completion of a PHN course within one year of hire.
Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license.
CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
One year of experience as a registered professional nurse.
Bilingual.
