Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role based in Syracuse, NY, for a Facilities Manager at PEACE, Inc. The Facilities Manager will oversee the maintenance and operation of facilities, ensuring they are safe, secure, and efficiently functioning. The role includes coordinating repairs and renovations, supervising cleaning and maintenance staff, managing vendor relationships, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and effectively handling facility budgets and records. The Facilities Manager will also play a vital role in creating a productive and safe environment for all staff and visitors.

Qualifications

Strong skills in facilities maintenance, inspections, and operations management

Experience in vendor management, procurement, and overseeing building repairs and renovations

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance

Proficiency in budget management, record‑keeping, and scheduling

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities

High attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment

Proficiency with relevant software tools and systems

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Experience with non‑profit organizations or community services is a plus

Annual Salary: $66,000 – $70,000
