About the role Boston Scientific in Maple Grove, MN is looking for a Production Supervisor to join the ADSA (Access & Delivery Solutions Assembly) team. The core hours of this shift run from 5:00am to 3:00pm, Monday‑Thursday (4x10‑hour shifts).
The Production Supervisor will lead a diverse team of direct labor employees in safely producing high‑quality medical devices and equipment for the customer directly impacting patients' lives around the world.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your leadership skills as you lead, coach, and mentor production and support team personnel, creating a culture of engagement and continuous improvement. In addition to daily execution of line performance with project leadership and change management, you will ensure your team meets safety, quality, service, and cost goals.

Your responsibilities
Produce high‑quality products, safely, on time for the customer at the lowest cost
Facilitate and partner with a cross‑functional production team to achieve annual safety, quality, service, and cost goals while maintaining a high‑engagement, high‑performance culture
Identify customer requirements to deliver the right products at the right time
Be responsive and flexible to customer demands
Achieve and exceed product cost goals
Support new product development readiness activities for the line team
Manufacture products to the highest quality standards and ensure compliance with all Boston Scientific policies and regulations
Promote safety, quality, and compliance among the team while maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices
Foster teamwork and enable a culture of Operational Excellence throughout the entire cross‑functional team
Ensure effective two‑way communication between the production line team and cross‑functional support teams
Manage, motivate, develop, and involve product builders through coaching and performance management
Embed company values through demonstration and recognition of individual and team behaviors
Utilize production area planning tools to ensure all resources are in place to achieve team commitments
Ensure product builder training is effective and efficient, and maintain training versatility across the team
Utilize leader standard work to ensure lines are meeting standards and escape appropriately
Lead and create team engagement around continuous improvement goals for safety, quality, service, cost, and space through the use of lean and operational excellence tools
Benchmark and share best practices
Partner with materials management for build planning and material delivery systems and tools
Analyze build plan requirements and provide forward‑looking monthly production commitments
Anticipate requirements and position resources to meet and exceed customer needs
Provide appropriate input into long‑term planning for the production area
Required qualifications
High school diploma or GED with experience in a production environment
Demonstrated experience managing day‑to‑day operations with accountability for safety, quality, service, cost, staffing, and performance outcomes
Proven ability to work in structured, process‑driven environments and follow standard operating procedures
Proficiency with basic computer systems and business tools (e.g., scheduling, reporting, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and align teams across shifts and functions
Preferred qualifications
Experience in a regulated industry such as medical device, healthcare, food/beverage, or aviation
Exposure to or experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or other quality/compliance systems
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, operational excellence, or continuous improvement tools and methods
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across levels and functions
Demonstrated agility and ability to lead in dynamic, fast‑paced environments
Proven success developing teams and building culture through coaching, engagement, and performance recognition initiatives
Compensation Minimum Salary: $59,900
Maximum Salary: $113,800

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
