Role Overview Collaborate with the Global Supplier Operations team to harmonize data sets, tools, and processes across the supply chain. This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring seamless alignment with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in onboarding and training internal staff on procurement procedures and best practices

Ensure supplier relationships adhere to company policies and quality standards

Work closely with production teams to align material procurement with operational needs

Represent Supplier operations within audits (customer or regulatory) globally

Maintain detailed documentation on purchasing workflows, approvals, and compliance requirements

Assist in streamlining ordering processes to reduce costs and prevent delays

Support training on ERP systems or procurement tools used within the company

Conduct process audits to ensure alignment with procurement strategies and industry regulations

Provide feedback on purchasing procedures to enhance overall efficiency

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Business/STEM or equivalent

APICS certification including CPIM, CFPIM, or the CSCP is preferred

Developed understanding of supply chain – 3+ years experience

Understanding of ERP/MRP (Microsoft AX2012, InforLN) and supporting systems (Agile, DMS) for Supply Chain & Planning functions

Essential – SQL / Tableau / Power BI understanding

Good communication skills for supplier interactions and internal coordination

Demonstrated analytical, verbal, and attention to detail

Benefits of working at Microchip

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $46,000-$128,000.*

Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
