DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is DMC’s largest hospital, offering comprehensive heart center, cancer care, gerontology, emergency medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, and cosmetic services. It has more than 21 outpatient sites and ambulatory surgery centers across Wayne and Oakland Counties and received a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant to advance cardiac care standards.

Job Summary:

In association with market leadership, you will oversee and monitor DMC operations to ensure adherence with statutory, governance, and regulatory rules. You will manage DMC regulatory readiness and interact with senior management, Board of Trustees committees, and others responsible for governance, conflict of interest, and medical staff operations. You will assist hospitals in complying with complex regulations related to Board membership, Governance Committees, data security, human investigational protocols, patient rights, and similar laws. Additionally, you will provide direct support by interpreting regulatory rulings, and deliver administrative and analytical support for accreditation, licensure, e‑learning, training, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Care Administration, Operations Analysis, clinical or other related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Master’s degree preferred.

Three years of progressively responsible experience in a health care system, hospital, or similar complex organization subject to intense external regulations, including direct involvement with senior management and external entities regarding compliance with external standards.

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan preferred.

Experience in using personal computers and knowledge of statistical or spreadsheet software tools.

Salary: $130,000.00 – $160,000.00
