Career Team is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Specialist to support program development and quality assurance functions for the North Central Team. This role will play an integral part in serving our customers by supporting the program behind the scenes. The day‑to‑day functions of this role will include reporting, data collection, monitoring, and similar activities.
Duties and Responsibilites
Manage all activities for tracking data and train staff to be compliant.
Ensure that Career Advisors for all programs maintain accurate written case records and files in Work in Texas that are necessary to meet contractual requirements.
Support the invoicing relationship between the funder and the corporate fiscal team.
Provide updates, corrections, reviews, and documentation in a timely manner.
Monitor, audit, and provide second reviews on files and reports through Work In Texas and other case files.
Be a subject‑matter expert in program compliance and policy from all levels and funding streams.
Maintain a positive productive relationship with the funder to maintain a positive partnership and collaboration.
Complete program invoice corrections in a timely manner.
Work with the funding source compliance coordinator to proactively address corrections and ensure correct documents and case notes are entered into a database for customer support services, Individual Training Accounts (ITAs), and Subsidized Work Experience (SWE).
Work with the leadership team to process participant exits from Work In Texas database to hard file.
Assist team with compliance reports.
Data entry of expenditures for all program functions.
Provide administrative support to teams and program.
Accurately keep updated records.
Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset, consistent with the responsibilities of your position and the evolving needs of the business.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources.
Possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make well‑thought‑out decisions.
Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure to complete a high volume of work assignments with speed and accuracy.
Must be computer literate and have MS Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills at minimum, and the ability to learn specialized databases and software systems.
Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive.
Ability to meet and exceed set goals and objectives.
Excellent interpersonal, time management, customer service, organizational skills, and communication skills, both oral and written required.
Knowledgeable about WIOA, Choices, TANF and SNAP programs and other workforce program requirements.
A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient in maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
A Valid Driver's License.
Additional Skills / Knowledge
Bilingual or Multilingual.
Experience and/or knowledge of workforce development programs (WIOA/TANF).
Training in Trauma Informed Care, evidence‑based practice, and/or whole family services.
