Business Development Manager (BDM) The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a key role responsible for driving growth and expanding APEX Property Management's market presence. The ideal candidate resonates with and believes deeply in the vision of the business, including the company's purpose, values, and value proposition. This individual will demonstrate high energy and enthusiasm while conveying trustworthiness and establishing emotional connections with prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue goals.
Actively engage incoming sales calls and respond to new leads as soon as possible using web forms, Yelp leads, etc.
Share the value proposition prior to discussing pricing, ensuring the conversation builds momentum and excitement toward closing.
Display strong command of AMG policies and practices, establishing clear expectations for ideal business relationships and maintaining high standards for property and owner support.
Achieve a closing rate of 50% or higher on qualified leads, utilizing compelling reasons for clients to sign up with AMG immediately and managing compelling, deadline-driven incentives.
Maintain a strong command of the new client lead flow process, brand assets, and the goals for each stage.
Build positive relationships with referral partners, local Realtor community, effectively managing and documenting lead sources in our CRM.
Capable of closing 40 new accounts per month and regularly survey competitors’ pricing and offerings to remain competitive in the market.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, ideally within the property management or real estate industry.
High energy, enthusiasm, and a strong ability to convey trustworthiness and emotional connections.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
