Job Description The Manager, Transportation for Caterpillar's Equipment Processing Centers (EPCs) will lead a global team and develop, implement, and run supply and inventory operations across the global EPC network. Responsibilities include managing relationships with suppliers, ensuring adequate product supply, establishing best practices, analyzing supply‑chain trends, maintaining inventory accuracy, and shaping future supply strategy.
What You Will Do
Develop, implement, and manage complex supply‑chain streams.
Manage relationships and processes with internal and external suppliers to ensure adequate product supply to meet inventory strategies and enable Finish‑to‑Order, Merge‑in‑Transit operations and work‑tools distribution.
Establish effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with clients, business partners and internal functions.
Perform analysis of supply‑chain trends, production schedules, forecasts, on‑time delivery, and inventory strategies and recommend improvements.
Manage inventory accuracy across all EPC locations, including cycle count and annual counts.
Help shape the future of the EPC supply strategy based on PSLD capabilities, growth and efficiency targets.
Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time‑to‑time.
What You Have (Basic Requirements)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of continuous transformation, transportation, logistics management, problem solving, analytical thinking, decision‑making, process management, and relationship management.

Compensation and Benefits Summary Pay Range: $147,760.00 - $221,640.00 (subject to market location and individual factors). Salary is one component of total compensation. Benefits subject to plan eligibility, terms, and guidelines.
Additional Information This position requires working onsite five days a week.
