Senior Manager- Bank Deposit Operations – Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC
Provide leadership to a diverse team that delivers operational oversight, service, and administration of complex and high-risk products within Bank Operations. Oversee the daily functions of the team, ensuring accurate execution while meeting all compliance and regulatory requirements. Drive process improvements, document procedures, and serve as a subject‑matter expert for projects, initiatives, and outsourced operations.
Key Responsibilities
Leverage experience and management skills to implement process improvements, proactively identifying and resolving complex business issues.
Provide oversight of policies and procedures, ensuring they are appropriately documented and compliant with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with internal and external business partners to identify and mitigate risk.
Lead projects and initiatives within the team and across Operations that have enterprise‑wide impact.
Coach and develop the management team through goal setting, performance management, and staff development.
Guide all levels of processes, procedures, and compliance requirements, communicating changes effectively.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
7 to 10 years of relevant experience.
Post‑secondary education may be used to meet the combined total years of qualification if equivalent experience is not available.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4 years).
Deposit operational experience.
Vendor oversight and management skills.
Extensive experience in operations, processing, or customer service teams.
Strong consultative and relationship‑building skills for influencing partners.
Demonstrated people leadership through direct management.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
