FF&E Procurement Specialist (Interior Design related)

Role Description STANTONIC’s highly creative studio, located in the convenient Forest Park suburb of Chicago, is seeking an experienced FF&E Procurement Specialist to join our Interior Design team. This role supports multifamily and hospitality projects across all phases of design and delivery and is ideal for a procurement professional who understands the pace, complexity, and coordination required for large‑scale multifamily and hospitality interiors.
What You’ll Do
Manage FF&E procurement for multifamily and hospitality projects, from budgeting and sourcing through purchasing, delivery, and closeout.
Lead vendor sourcing efforts, bid reviews, and proposal evaluations to ensure alignment with design intent, schedules, and project budgets.
Coordinate and support contract negotiations with manufacturers, dealers, and professional service providers.
Serve as a primary liaison between designers, project managers, vendors, and consultants throughout the procurement process.
Develop, review, and manage FF&E specifications, scopes of work, and purchasing documentation.
Track vendor performance, lead times, logistics, and spending to support efficient and successful project execution.
Conduct market research on pricing, availability, lead times, and emerging FF&E trends.
Support strategic sourcing initiatives and assist with procurement planning for large-scale purchasing efforts.
Maintain accurate procurement records using ERP or purchasing systems and prepare procurement status reports as needed.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree with 5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience.
Proven experience in FF&E procurement for multifamily, hospitality, or commercial interior projects.
Experience with contract negotiation, vendor management, and strategic sourcing.
Proficiency with procurement systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
