Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to serve as the primary point of contact to Government stakeholders for a large, multi-disciplinary IT and AI-focused program. The PM will provide overall leadership, direction, and oversight for all contractor personnel and will be responsible for managing cost, schedule, scope, performance, and risk across complex technical initiatives.
The ideal candidate has deep experience leading federal IT programs, delivering AI/ML-enabled solutions into production environments, and working within Agile/DevSecOps environments.
This position is contingent upon contract award and funding.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as the primary Government point of contact for program execution and performance
Provide overall leadership, direction, and guidance to contractor program staff
Manage cost, schedule, scope, and performance across multidisciplinary IT and AI teams
Lead teams including software engineers, data scientists/ML engineers, testers, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations personnel
Utilize Agile and iterative delivery methods aligned with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices
Develop and maintain:
Integrated project plans and schedules
Risk, issue, and action item logs
AI-specific risk and model governance artifacts (e.g., model evaluation plans, bias/performance tracking, change-management for models)
Resource and staffing plans
Recurring program status reports and performance metrics
Engage and coordinate with COs, CORs, and governance bodies throughout the acquisition lifecycle
Ensure compliance with federal security and privacy requirements including:
FISMA
FedRAMP
NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Protection of PII
Oversee service-level management, risk management, ethics, and governance considerations associated with AI capabilities
Prepare high-quality written documentation and brief senior Government stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of progressive experience managing IT projects
5+ years serving as Project Manager on federal or comparable public-sector IT initiatives of similar scope, complexity, and dollar value
2+ years of direct experience planning, executing, and overseeing projects implementing AI or Machine Learning solutions (e.g., LLMs, intelligent automation, advanced analytics, AI-enabled decision support) in production or operational environments
Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams
Experience delivering solutions using Agile/iterative delivery in conjunction with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices
Knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle and interaction with:
Contracting Officers (COs)
Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs)
Governance bodies
Familiarity with FAR and applicable agency supplements related to IT and AI services
Working knowledge of:
Cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Federal security and privacy requirements (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST RMF, PII protection)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or Agile certification
Experience with model governance and responsible AI frameworks
Experience supporting large federal agencies or programs
Experience with continuous monitoring and ATO processes
Additional Requirements:
Must meet all Government suitability and/or security clearance requirements specified for this contract
This is a Key Personnel role

Salary Range The proposed salary range for this role is $150,000.00 to $175,000.00 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
