Who We Want The Team Leader is the first line of support for the production team members. The team leader helps to lead and coach the production team in obtaining daily standard work requirements in the areas of safety, quality, productivity and morale. The team leader assists with root cause/problem solving for quality and delivery issues.

What You’ll Do

Ensure that safety rules are followed and report any abnormal conditions to group leaders or department management immediately.

Verify product being produced in the assigned work zone conforms to customer requirements.

Verify that team members are performing checks according to the quality checklist.

Conduct periodic gage and visual checks of parts being produced in the work zone.

Ensure that production schedule and JRFP are being followed.

Verify label information and pack‑out quantities are correct. Sign off on label prior to authorizing movement from the workcell.

Fill in and run production when necessary to support (restroom breaks and absenteeism).

Work with production team members to ensure that the hourly production rates are achieved.

Maintain hour‑by‑hour boards in the assigned work zone.

Escalate issues that are causing downtime and loss of productivity.

Has high standards of performance for self.

Takes responsibility for actions, results, and mistakes.

Is thorough, accurate, and reliable when performing and completing job tasks; demonstrates honesty and integrity in all aspects of work.

Takes positive action to objectively resolve conflict by listening, staying focused on issue to find resolution, and monitoring progress.

Maintains positive relationships by constructively resolving conflicts.

Uses feedback from others to continuously improve performance and work relationships.

Moves within own and/or other work areas (flexes) to support plant flow.

Works with sense of urgency to meet needs of customers.

Has necessary experience, skills, and knowledge to perform all aspects of job; rotates through all job responsibilities.

When and Where This will be a

2nd Shift / 2:30 PM‑10:30 PM ,

M‑F

position located at our Plant in

Walker, MI .

Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customers’ needs, deadlines, or urgent requests.

What You Need To Have

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Able to stand for 8‑10 hours a day and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
