Project Manager - Aviation Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. invites applicants for the Project Manager – Aviation position. This full‑time role is located in Nashville, TN and requires a mid‑senior level professional with a background in aviation engineering and project management.

Pay Range Base: $100,000.00 per year - $120,000.00 per year (actual pay based on skills and experience).

Responsibilities

Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent airside and landslide capital projects at international airport facilities as part of the construction and program management team.

Provide direction and input on projects from design development stage through construction.

Act as primary representative on projects, establish standards for meeting minutes, records, and ensure designers and contractors meet quality standards.

Facilitate coordination with other airport divisions and local and federal regulatory agencies, as appropriate.

Coordinate with various utility companies and public/private agencies including FAA, TSA, telephone companies, and other federal, state, and local agencies.

Be familiar with a variety of project delivery methods (e.g., design‑bid‑build, design‑build, construction manager at risk).

Provide quality control for administration procedures, design, and construction processes.

Manage requests for information and clarification, submittals, samples, and shop drawings.

Prepare comprehensive Project Management Plans and track project budgets, contracts, billing, and schedules.

Ensure quality program implementation and execution.

Review project reports and findings, making modifications to the project as needed.

Act as primary agent between client and project team, developing the scope and proposals, coordinating events, leading client meetings and internal project meetings, and delivering final projects to clients.

Monitor safety compliance and contractor safety oversight.

Conduct project closeout administration.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others.

Set an example of core values in daily actions and promote a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

PE license, required.

8–10 years of experience, including aviation engineering experience.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Knowledge of FAA funding and guidelines, including pavement design Advisory Circulars, pavement design software, current construction specifications, and airport construction safety plans.

Experience designing and managing aviation projects and developing plans, specifications, and estimates for airport agencies.

Superior knowledge of FAA Airport Circulars and engineering design, bidding, construction administration, and management of airport projects.

Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
