About the Role With new innovations and exciting expansions plans in place, there has never been a better time to join the Ferrero Group and be extraordinary with us! This role involves managing the expeditious flow of product and services into and out of the Somerset, NJ production location and appropriate dealings with vendors, warehouses, and local departments.
Main Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support both standard inventory and new product needs
Prepare and issue RFQ's, review supplier pricing, and monitor costs
Create and manage purchase orders for packaging and services in SAP to ensure timely supply for production
Coordinate with suppliers and the warehouse team to ensure on time delivery of products and services
Confirm order accuracy and verify that deliveries align with purchase orders
Communicate timelines and critical updates to internal teams
Partner with planning teams regarding forecast changes
Work with AP, suppliers, and warehouse team to resolve invoicing and goods receipt discrepancies
Coordinate the creation of new vendors as well as updating existing vendor information
Coordinate on time delivery of artwork to suppliers, working with graphic chain, and marketing and ensuring internal information is accurate
Work with local Quality department to address material defects with suppliers and resolve packaging issues
About You
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Business or related field of study
Strong understanding of purchasing and supply chain processes
2 – 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience
Proven analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision making
Experience managing multiple suppliers in a fast‑paced environment
Working knowledge of procurement or ERP software, SAP experience highly preferred
Strong communication, problem solving, and interdepartmental collaboration
Proficiency in Excel
Compensation Data The base salary range for this position is $74,000- $99,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
