Job Duties

The County Admin Support Specialist II performs administrative and secretarial duties in support of agency management: provide routine and specialized administrative support.

Monitors the AWS Call Center Agents to ensure all call agents are signed on to the system and receiving inbound calls to assist SNAP and TANF clients. Provides management with a daily attendance roster for the AWS System.

Presents a positive image which supports agency actions and mission at all times; provides professional customer service to clients served by the agency.

Receives professional and personal calls: screens and refers the phone call to the appropriate party.

Provides clients with general information of the programs and refers them to the appropriate staff member to assist them in a more in depth manner.

Maintains accurate files for all essential documents and reports.

Employs the ability to write professional emails and other correspondences.

Performs emergency disaster management services to include American Red Cross sheltering and Disaster Snap duties; performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications A High School Diploma and two (2) years clerical experience.

An Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for all or part of the work requirements.
