Manages Grid capital project portfolio and individual projects typically less than $5M. Works directly with Construction Engineers, Work Management Supervisor, and Operations Coordinators to ensure projects are estimated and delivered effectively. Identifies, manages, and mitigates project risks while maintaining cost and schedule objectives and ensuring excellence in safety and quality. Job Duties / Responsibilities

Promote safety, leading the team to incorporate safety indicators and requirements into design and implementation. Define project organization structure, identify required technical skills, and assign appropriately skilled individuals to the project team. Develop and execute a Project Portfolio in accordance with corporate standards, ensuring that team members fulfill their responsibilities and navigate required deliverables. Coordinate activities of all stakeholders, including consultants and contractors, and maintain project documentation. Provide clear, timely status reports for management, making timely decisions on issues that could impact project performance. Coordinate with functional departments (Distribution Planning, Capital Projects, Supply Chain, OpCo leadership) to meet corporate standards and project budget/timeline. Manage creation, tracking, and closure of planned and failure work orders in Maximo and PowerPlan. Minimum Requirements

Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience : 0–5 years in Distribution, Substation, or Transmission. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities : History of safe performance; strong safety involvement; experience in new ROW acquisition procedures; negotiation, interpersonal, and group communication skills; planning, organization, and time‑management skills; knowledge of Transmission Line or Substation Design Standards and Construction & Maintenance practices; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Certificates/Licenses : None required. Working Conditions

Employees may be required to work additional hours, alternate locations, or additional duties during storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations. Exempt employees may not be paid overtime for such duties. Benefits & Other Information
