POSITION SCOPE The
Crushing Foreman
is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant; overseeing all operations, both on site and in the office, managing workers, coordinating production and monitoring all site systems. The Crushing Foreman will be responsible for supervising a work crew and inspecting and maintaining equipment.
Travel in state and out of state will be required.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Supervise work crew
Assist with setup and tear down of plants
Perform general maintenance, repair, and service equipment as required
Individuals must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis
Ensure that all operations maintain safety, production, and quality goals
Coordinate with the crew to ensure timely delivery of product
Report on operational, production, and budget goals and status
Enforce compliance with all safety policies and procedures
Coordinate daily and weekly plant and equipment inspections
Monitor daily cost to determine performance and address variances
Provide support and operational assistance in the areas of safety, quality control, time management, and communication
Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy
Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Required 5+ years of verifiable working experience as foreman or supervisor of construction crusher crews
Must hold an M.S.H.A. 5000-23 certificate
Maintain a valid driver's license
Able to operate equipment efficiently to maintain project specifications.
Must be a Team player
Must have good understanding of Gradations
Mechanical knowledge of equipment and being able to perform routine maintenance
Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch
Fluent on Apple products and basic computer skills in Excel and Word are required
Willing to work long shifts and able to work weekends
Must be willing to travel to other job sites
