About The Role As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium sized buildings. This role is part of the Facilities Management functional area, focusing on all aspects of the operations of assets and providing support to Property Managers regarding repairs and investment plans.

What You’ll Do

Manage the facilities for a Manufacturing/Distribution center.

Provide formal supervision to 3 employees, monitor their training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee recruiting and hiring.

Schedule and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, set and track deadlines, and mentor as needed.

Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.

Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.

Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.

Perform facility inspections and quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations; suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.

Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.

Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures, review price quotes for procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.

Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.

Lead by example, model CBRE RISE values, and influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

Apply knowledge of your discipline and its integration with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues within existing systems and processes.

What You’ll Need

Strong understanding of Facilities Management with experience interfacing with HQ executives.

Experience with BMS and strong soft skills.

Ability to learn new proprietary databases quickly.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 years of relevant experience; alternative education and experience may be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.

Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Ability to guide exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey expectations, and handle problems.

Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the discipline and department.

Extensive organizational skills and a strong inquisitive mindset.

Advanced math skills for calculating complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Compensation CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $115,000 annually, and the maximum salary is $120,000 annually. The compensation offered will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s benefit program.
