Base Pay Range:
$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Location:
Lakeland, Florida
Shift:
Full-Time (6PM-2AM)
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure facility meets minimum staffing levels and post nurse staffing data as required
Monitor and oversee completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) for residents with significant status changes
Ensure resident rooms, nurse’s stations, and common areas are clean, safe, and sanitary
Support the development of a holistic, interdisciplinary dementia care program
Verify census accuracy, manage admissions, discharges, leaves of absence, and bed holds
Assist with safe and timely transfers and discharges
Coordinate insurance pre-certifications and recertifications
Interpret and enforce departmental policies with staff, residents, and regulatory agencies
Participate in policy development and revisions with the Director of Nursing
Assist during facility surveys/inspections
Audit clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance
Participate in the “triple check” billing process and ensure completion of resident charge sheets
Complete required administrative and medical documentation
Qualifications:
Current, active RN or LPN license in the state of Florida (unencumbered)
Strong communication skills with proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Knowledge of age-specific resident care and long-term care regulations
Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and supervisory abilities
Able to work collaboratively with staff, residents, families, and outside agencies
Familiarity with nursing standards, medical practices, and relevant laws
