The scope of Hubbard's work includes complex highway projects, site development, paving, utility and drainage systems, surveying, RAP and hot mix sales, and state‑of‑the‑art bridge building. General Description The Leave Management Coordinator supports the Leave Management Specialist and Manager. This role handles administrative tasks related to employee leave programs, such as processing leave requests, tracking cases, monitoring benefits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of customer service are essential to effectively assist employees, managers, and the team.
Key Duties
Provide administrative support to the Leave Specialist and Manager.
Receive, log, and track leave requests in Kheops and Leave Management system.
Respond to leave‑related emails and serve as the first point of contact for general inquiries.
Respond to general employee leave inquiries with empathy, providing clear guidance and status update.
Monitor case status and ensure all required documentation is submitted; elevate complex or incomplete cases to the Leave Specialist.
Track and verify employee benefit premium payments during leave, coordinating with Payroll or Accounting as needed.
Maintain accurate leave records and documentation in compliance with company policies and applicable leave law.
Assist in preparing basic reports and summaries for review by the Leave Specialist.
Collaborate with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate tracking of leave hours, benefits, and deductions.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely.
Use Kheops and leave management systems efficiently to update case records and generate reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements General:

Education and Experience:
This position typically is not an entry‑level job.
Requires previous experience with Human Resources, Leave Management or Benefits.
A high school diploma or GED is required, and a BS degree is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
Experience in managing leave cases (LOA, FMLA, Disability Claims).
Demonstrated ability to provide efficient, professional operational support, including strong problem‑solving skills.
Proven ability to work effectively within a fast‑paced and high‑volume environment.
Strong analytical skills, including an aptitude to manage detailed quantitative information.
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
Assist with innovative ideas to help the team improve their processes and delivery.
Bi‑lingual in Spanish and English preferred.
Physical Demands
Frequent ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to drive a company vehicle for various recruiting events.
Frequent ability to talk and hear, both in person and by telephone.
Frequent ability to operate standard office equipment, using hand and arm dexterity.
Frequent ability to navigate through office environment, including periodic use of stairs and/or elevator, as needed.
Infrequent ability to lift general office documents and materials, up to 10 pounds.
Frequent vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
Work generally is performed in an office environment, although periodic visits to construction sites and manufacturing facilities may be required.
Noise level in the typical office work environment is quiet.
