Permanent Project Manager
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Base pay range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Permanent Project Manager who is ready to take on challenging projects and make a significant impact. The ideal candidate will have a background in government contracts, commercial construction, and construction management. This role requires a keen understanding of project budgets, coordination, submittals, and subcontractors. We are looking for a driven individual with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry, who is excited about leading diverse teams and driving projects to successful completion.
Responsibilities
Overseeing all aspects of project management within the accounting and finance department, including the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects.
Managing and coordinating the efforts of team members, contractors, and consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Developing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Working closely with government entities to secure and manage contracts.
Overseeing commercial construction projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Handling submittals and working closely with subcontractors to ensure that all project requirements are met.
Identifying and managing project risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, and taking decisive action to ensure project success.
Communicating effectively with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and progress.
Ensuring that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the Accounting + Finance industry.
Proven experience managing government contracts and commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction management practices and principles.
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing project budgets.
Excellent coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with submittals and experience working with subcontractors.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify and overcome project challenges.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Finance, or Project Management.
