Backfill Operator – Boulder, CO
Garney Construction is hiring a Backfill Operator in Boulder, CO. The operator will operate front‑end equipment to perform excavation, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, grading, and final clean‑up. The operator may also perform laborer functions as required.
What You Will Be Doing
Backfill the ditch properly after the pipe is laid.
Perform backfill safely as part of a crew.
Perform operator‑level maintenance on the machine.
Move the trench boxes from the ditch.
What We Are Looking For
Two to five years of construction experience.
Utility work experience preferred.
Firm knowledge of equipment operations and maintenance.
Must be willing to work overtime and travel.
