We is seeking an experienced fundraising and business development professional to help drive capital formation, expand our institutional footprint, and open new distribution channels and ultimately accelerate grow AUM.

Position Overview The Senior Business Development & Fundraising Professional will help drive capital-raising efforts across the firm’s platform, with responsibility for brand building, identifying potential investment mandates , developing these leads, building relationships with key decision makers, and helping the firm win and close on these target mandates. . This individual will work closely with executive leadership, portfolio managers, and marketing and client service teams to shape fundraising strategy, communicate with relevant investment consultants and strategic decision makers to articulate the firm’s investment capabilities, and win mandates.. The ideal candidate brings a proactive and team work mindset, a strong institutional network with allocators, trade organizations and consultants, A demonstrated success raising capital across multiple asset classes will be an important consideration.

Key Responsibilities Business Development & Capital Raising

Develop and execute an asset raising plan targeting institutional allocators (Public Funds, Corporations, Endowments, Foundations, Taft-Hartley, OCIOs, Consultants, etc.).

Develop tailored fundraising strategies for each prospect, including market mapping??, competitive positioning, and value-proposition development.

Ability to clearly articulate the firm’s investment philosophy, portfolio construction process and investment thesis to generate investment outperformance and to review the current performance results.

Deliver compelling pitches and drive opportunities through the full fundraising cycle to close.

Identify new market opportunities and distribution channels aligned with the firm’s growth objectives.

Increase the firm’s relationships with targeted consultants

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified institutional prospects.

Collaborate with leadership on product positioning, competitive differentiation, and go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications Required

7–12+ years of experience in business development or fundraising within asset management, institutional consulting, or private markets.

Demonstrated success raising capital from institutional investors across multiple asset classes (preferably including fixed income, public equity, and private credit).

Strong knowledge of institutional investment marketplace, business development lifecycle, and due diligence processes.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Requires occasional to frequent travel within the United States.

Preferred

Established network of institutional allocators and investment consultants.

Experience with raising assets for a boutique or growing asset managers.

Advanced degree or designations (MBA, CFA) advantageous but not required.
