About The Opportunity This open position is with FirstEnergy Service Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp., within the Ethics & Compliance group, reporting to the Manager, Ethics and Compliance Assurance.

Estimated Pay Range:

$72,675 – $102,600 annually; locations such as New Jersey include a 20% cost‑of‑living differential, resulting in a range of $87,210 – $123,120.

Key Responsibilities

Support day‑to‑day technical administration of the Archer GRC platform used across the organization.

Perform advanced administrative, development, and configuration tasks on Archer, including system maintenance and enhancements.

Accommodate business requirements for day‑to‑day assurance management.

Track Archer support requests, document needs, and coordinate escalations to ensure quality customer support and successful completion of tasks.

Apply GRC standards to existing and new modules.

Support company‑wide reporting and analytics initiatives, providing GRC data as the subject‑matter expert.

Collaborate with E&C functions to design and develop surveys for management of ongoing processes and initiatives.

Train Archer users on tool usage as appropriate.

Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Achieve and maintain ARCHER Administrator I and II Certifications.

Design and develop an E&C dashboard for monitoring risks, controls, practices & procedures adherence, and investigations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Management, Engineering, or related discipline (or 7 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree).

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience for level III; 7–10 years for level IV and above, including experience with GRC administration or IT system administration, support, or development.

Experience in system deployments, upgrades, ongoing maintenance, and operations.

Strong focus on continuous documentation and delivery of information in an easily consumable form.

Ability to identify opportunities, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance the system.

Experience developing monitoring metrics for Data Governance policies, standards, and controls.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.

Maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Preferred Skills

Experience with RSA Archer GRC platform.

Strong project management skills; meticulous approach and ability to meet deadlines.

Proficiency in SQL and JavaScript (a plus, but not required).

Experience in risk management, regulatory, compliance, and/or audit.

Data analytics, reporting, or data‑related programming skills.

Technical writing experience.

Advanced experience in PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
