Yale New Haven Health is seeking a CRNA Quality Improvement Specialist in New London, CT.

Responsibilities
Implement accurate, safe, patient‑centric anesthetic care.
Understand the physiologic implications and anesthetic considerations of surgical procedures, constantly monitoring vital signs, capnography, and pulse oximetry during anesthesia according to ASA guidelines.
Ensure appropriate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements; protect information of all forms from unauthorized access, modification, destruction, or disclosure.
Demonstrate a high standard of moral and ethical behavior, professionalism, compassion, and commitment to patient care.
Continuously engage in projects that maintain and advance professional competency.
Qualifications
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist – completion of a Nurse Anesthesia Education Program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation.
Preferred clinical experience as a CRNA within the specialty/service line; experience not required.
APRNs, PAs, CRNAs, and CNMs required to be appointed to the affiliated medical staff and credentialed through the medical staff process.
Ability to stand for long periods, wear lead as needed for fluoroscopy/X‑ray cases, lift 25 pounds, reach above and below shoulder height, and move self/patients between anesthesia locations.

State of CT RN and APRN Licenses
ACLS, DEA Registration, and State of CT Controlled Substance Registration
