Program Manager – Small Satellite Missions
A pioneering space tech company is seeking an experienced
Program Manager
to lead the development, production, and delivery of
small satellite missions . This role will see you at the heart of mission success — coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring complex satellite projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest technical standard.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead satellite mission projects from concept design through to delivery to the launch provider.
Develop detailed project plans, define milestones, and ensure cross‑team alignment across engineering, production, software, and integration.
Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and timely updates.
Identify and mitigate program risks while keeping teams focused on key deliverables.
Collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to troubleshoot challenges and optimise performance.
Support business development with project estimates, resource forecasting, and risk assessments.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years’ experience
managing satellite or aerospace programs, ideally within small satellite missions.
Bachelor’s degree in
Aerospace, Systems, or Software Engineering
(or similar).
Proven track record overseeing full‑lifecycle aerospace projects.
Strong leadership, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with project management tools and modern methodologies.
Technical understanding of satellite systems design, integration, testing, and launch processes.
PMP or similar certification preferred.
Must be eligible to work on USG projects and obtain necessary clearances.
