Job Overview: The Investment Performance Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the performance of investment portfolios and insurance products to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
Key Deliverables And Responsibilities What You’ll Do
Performance Analysis: Track and evaluate investment performance for our investment advisory offerings.
Reporting: Prepare detailed performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
Data Management: Collect, validate, and maintain financial data from multiple sources.
Risk Assessment: Identify trends in performance dispersion among strategies and flag those risks to management.
Collaboration: Work closely with our client solutions, investment product, and due diligence teams to improve processes and ensure high quality information is provided. May be asked to support our structured product efforts from time to time.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies in all reporting and analysis.
Forecasting & Modeling: Support financial modeling and scenario analysis for strategic decision‑making.
Special Projects: Support CIO and team in one‑off research projects that incorporate peer group benchmarking and analysis.
What are we looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
2+ years of experience in investment analysis, performance reporting/analysis or similar.
Strong proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and financial modeling.
Knowledge of investments and investment products.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Active Series 7 License or willingness to pursue
Experience working with FactSet
Location Phoenix, AZ or Fairfield, IA – Hybrid in‑office 3x/week
Salary Range $60-70,000/year
