Customer Care Technician – Warranty – Gulfport/Biloxi, MS

Full‑time position. Days and hours of work are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This is a field position with minimal office work. Physical labor and on‑site customer visits are required.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain quality assurance and provide warranty service to homeowners after closing.
Conduct scheduled periodic home warranty inspections at 30 days, 6 months and 12 months after closing, or as needed.
Document items needing repair during inspections.
Work with Customer Care Coordinators to schedule appointments with homeowners and request work orders for repairs.
Educate homeowners on operating their mechanical and electrical equipment during inspections.
Perform light sheetrock, paint, plumbing, electrical, etc. work during the warranty inspection.
Ensure all warranty service requests are completed within the required time period.
Job Requirements & Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; job requires use of an iPad and other programs to complete documents.
Customer service background and a positive attitude are a must.
Strong work ethic and communication skills; ability to handle confrontation professionally.
Knowledge of residential construction; 2‑5 years’ experience preferred.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and valid motor vehicle liability insurance;
Physical stamina required: prolonged standing, bending, stooping, climbing or balancing, carrying up to 25 lb routinely and up to 50 lb occasionally. Exposure to weather, loud noise, and vibration.
Compensation
Salary is based on experience.
