Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an
Active Secret Security Clearance.
Must have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, technical discipline or equivalent experience, such as direct hands‑on experience with a particular system application.
Three (3) years of experience testing a software intensive DoD weapon system; Experience developing testing strategies and detailed test procedures, based on system requirements, as well as test execution.
Proven problem solving, written and oral communication skills and the ability to:
Work effectively in a fast‑paced, team environment
Work in a fast paced, rapidly changing range/field environment
Work independently and interface professionally with other government agencies, contractors, military personnel
Work with others to meet established goals and program schedules
The ability to create and perform both manual and automated testing
Experience and knowledge of systems engineering and testing practices throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience working in any of the Linux and Unix environments
Experience with any of the following: C, C++, Java, Ada programming languages
Experience supporting Department of Defense (or related) programs
Experience with the DoD Acquisition lifecycle
