Description Position Title: Machinist Location: Carson City, NV Shifts Available: Second and Third Shifts Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00/hr (based on skills and experience) Shift Differentials:Monday-Friday: +$2.00/hrTuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday: +$3.00/hrThursday-Monday: +$4.00/hrPosition Overview: Seeking experienced Machinists to operate manual machines and produce precision parts supporting aerospace, energy, and defense industries.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate manual equipment: 3-axis and 5-axis mills, drill presses, grindersRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsMeasure and inspect components using micrometers, calipers, pi tapes, etc.Replace cutting tools and perform basic maintenanceFollow safety, quality, and cleanliness standardsComplete inspection documentation and adhere to proceduresQualifications:Experience operating manual machining equipment in a manufacturing settingEnglish fluency in reading, writing, and communication (FAA compliance requirement)High school diploma or equivalent preferredMust be a U.S. person (U.S. passport, birth certificate, or green card required)Benefits:Coverage begins Day 1: medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k)Tuition reimbursementNo waiting period for holiday eligibility$1,000 sign-on bonus for qualified machinistsRelocation assistance may be offered based on experienceHiring Process:Resume review and screeningOn-site interview with production teamAptitude test (math and reading comprehension)English proficiency check (reading, writing, speaking)Drug test and document verification
