Summary The Quality Control Manager - Battery System Assembly is responsible for ensuring exceptional quality across both internal operations and supplier networks related to battery system manufacturing. This role leads quality efforts throughout the product lifecycle-from process development and audit readiness to supplier oversight and continuous improvement. The manager also directs the work of the internal quality control team and partners closely with engineering, manufacturing, and global suppliers to ensure compliance with MNAe's standards and customer expectations. This role will work at the MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC at our Ellabell, GA location.

is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.) Maintains the company's QMS and ensures the company remains compliant with IATF 16949 and required customer quality standards. Analyze quality data, production capabilities, customer complaints, and 4M changes to assess risks and initiate improvements. Suggests and debates alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing customer's requirements Reviews product design for compliance with company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications Supports all Quality Engineering initiatives including Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, etc. Lead supplier qualification activities, including on-site audits and ongoing performance reviews. Manages processing, approves documentation, and provides instructions regarding the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for customers Interfaces with process engineering, manufacturing plant, and customers on new product/process launches Maintain clear, thorough records of quality inspections, audits, and issue resolution. Deliver regular quality reports and insights to leadership, including corrective action effectiveness and supplier metrics. Reviews reporting on quality problems or trends for suppliers and leads the corrective action processes for Supplier issues Coordinates and performs process audits for supplier qualifications or process changes Cooperates with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals Assigns work and coordinates activities of all subordinate employees Complies with and promotes safety in the workplace

Basic Qualifications:

Required Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree is required with a strong preference in quality, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering area 2 to 5 years as a Quality Manager or over 5 years of hands-on experience as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of implementing and maintaining QM systems and its
auditing/assessment
of internal and external dealing with suppliers and customers Knowledgeable in training techniques Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Preferred Education & Experience: Working knowledge of Six Sigma Black/Green Belt 10 Years of quality experience in the automotive industry Bilingual (English/Korean) is preferred but not required
