Base pay range $300,000.00/yr - $500,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Optima Dev You’ve probably been building since your early teens – and still get a weird dopamine hit from deleting old code. One of those humble Engineers that loves nothing more than getting something shipped – with a track record of meaningful projects under your belt. Someone who can go “full stack” when needed, or deep dive when something’s on fire. You’re NOT one those ‘10x Engineers’. Not a ‘thought leader’, or someone who leads a team and hasn’t written code in two years. Well, you’d be joining a rapidly growing AI start-up in Palo Alto – focusing on all things GenAI and LLM – helping anyone build with AI. You’ll be writing Python that does real work. Frontend, backend, sometimes weird AI stuff. Building features, then tearing them down when you realise there’s a better way. Tuning performance, scaling infra, all the usual suspects. The tech stack: Frontend: Python, Flutter, Dart. LLMs, of course. And a whole lot of human feedback loops It’s a small team – so a background working within start-ups would be preferred. Even better, you’ll have some experience with top quantitative trading firms. You’ll have to be comfortable wearing multiple hats, and sometimes working independently. You’ll be working onsite in Palo Alto, CA. There’s no bloated benefits section here, but they pay well – $300k-$500k, plus real equity and a say in the product.
