Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise data architecture and data warehouse systems. Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality data solutions that support strategic business goals. Design, develop, and optimize data architecture and data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting needs. Define, recommend, and implement data architecture standards, principles, and best practices to ensure alignment with company goals and industry standards. Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable architecture solutions. Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems through the implementation of data governance and validation processes. Provide guidance and expertise to the enterprise systems team in the areas of data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository. Develop, maintain, and support the enterprise data warehouse system and corresponding data marts. Troubleshoot and tune existing data warehouse applications. Research new data warehouse applications to determine their viability for adoption. Assist with coordinating and streamlining recurring operational activities. Evaluate existing subject areas stored in the data warehouse. Incorporate existing subject areas into an enterprise model. Develop a long-term strategic roadmap for enterprise data architecture that supports business growth and innovation. Interview, gather, clarify, analyze, document, present, and design/diagram complex business processes and construct functional specifications for bug fixes, enhancements, or new development projects. Monitor database issues and direct resources to resolve the highest-priority issues. Strong background in data modeling, architecture best practices, and data governance to ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity across the organization. Oracle data warehouse design and development experience. Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern data platforms (OLTP, Data warehouse/Star schemas, etc.). Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams and aligning data strategies with business objectives. Experience with data governance frameworks and practices. Extensive experience with data modeling tools. Experience with PL/SQL, discoverer, and discoverer. PL/SQL programming skills. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client.
