Shipper Performance Coach

Amazon Global Logistics (GL) Linehaul is seeking a Shipper Performance Coach to improve the shipper experience for vendors and sellers who use Amazon Inbound Transportation. You will evaluate network shipper defects and drive improvement through coaching and performance management. This role involves creating and implementing recommendations to help shippers enhance their performance as Amazon continues to innovate in transportation and logistics.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Monitor, verify, and present data on a daily basis
  • Address transportation disruptions and barriers in real-time
  • Identify root causes of transportation defects
  • Maintain daily logs on assigned shippers
  • Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers
  • Lead daily business review stand-up calls

A day in the life: As a Shipper Performance Coach, you will actively manage the performance of a portfolio of shippers. This involves closely monitoring their data, identifying areas for improvement, and working directly with them to implement solutions. You'll need to quickly adapt to changing conditions and find creative ways to overcome challenges. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you'll interact with a wide range of stakeholders, teams, and partners daily.

Basic qualifications:

  • 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Are 18 years of age or older

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $40,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $66,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
