Mechanical Assembler

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will engage in the mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies for printers on a production line. This role involves packaging printers, utilizing various hand, power, and pneumatic tools, and working at multiple stations throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Package printers while handling up to 40 lbs to understand printer details.
• Perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies for printers by hand.
• Operate at various stations during the workday.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools for product production.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for part assembly.
• Inspect parts before and after assembly to ensure correct assembly.
• Enter data of rejected or flawed parts into the company database.

Essential Skills

• Experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Proficiency in using hand and pneumatic tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with packaging and quality inspection.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.54 - $23.54/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
