A registered nurse with medical-surgical expertise is needed for a contract position in Lynn, MA. This role is ideal for candidates possessing travel nursing experience and looking to cover holiday shifts. Shifts run from 7 PM to 7 AM with orientation dates available in mid-October or early January. Location Insight: Lynn is a vibrant coastal city in Massachusetts known for its rich history and diverse community. Its proximity to Boston offers both urban and beachside living, perfect for professionals who enjoy cultural amenities and outdoor activities. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care across three inpatient units including Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, and additional med-surg floors. Serve as a flexible resource within the float pool, supporting patient needs across all units. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care during holiday coverage periods. Qualifications & Experience: Current MA Permanent RN License required. Minimum 2 years experience in medical-surgical nursing with prior travel nursing experience. Certifications in BLS and ACLS mandatory. Familiarity with Meditech Expanse 6 EMR preferred but not required. Ability to provide two recent references from charge or manager RNs. Awareness of specialty-specific skills and competencies through a skills checklist. Additional Details: Orientation sessions scheduled on October 15 or 29 and January 14 or 28.
