An experienced Registered Nurse with Med/Surg and Telemetry expertise is needed for a contract assignment in Lorain, OH. This role offers a unique opportunity to work a 3x12-hour rotating shift schedule at a respected healthcare facility. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition and telemetry data. Administer medications and treatments safely and efficiently with adherence to protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and document all clinical activities in compliance with facility standards. Participate actively in orientation assessments, including safeMedicate and ECG testing. Qualifications / Desired Experience Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio or from a Compact State. Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry prior to the assignment. Recent (within 18 months) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry; travel nursing experience is acceptable. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification. Ability to work on a 3x12-hour rotating shift schedule, including working at least every other holiday. Successful completion of facility-specific assessments during orientation. Schedule Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 am to 7:30 pm / 7:00 pm to 7:30 am) Shifts may vary depending on operational needs.
