Provide advanced care to critically ill patients in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit setting located in Otis, OR. This contract role offers the opportunity to apply specialized nursing skills and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting patients with complex and high-risk medical conditions. Experienced RNs with a focus on critical care are encouraged to contribute their expertise in a fast-paced environment where continuous monitoring and timely interventions are essential. Key Qualifications and Experience: Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of application Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification mandatory ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required, specific to ICU-CCU settings Demonstrated knowledge and experience in intensive monitoring and critical care nursing Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced support Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care plans Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status using specialized critical care techniques Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in compliance with unit and regulatory standards Educate patients and families about care procedures and post-discharge plans as appropriate Location:Otis, Oregon is a small, scenic community offering a tranquil coastal environment with access to outdoor activities and picturesque landscapes.
