Situated in Mount Pleasant, MI, this contract role focuses on providing attentive, expert care to patients recovering from ambulatory surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort during a critical recovery phase. Key responsibilities include: Conducting thorough assessments of patients needs and delivering skilled nursing care in alignment with physician-established plans and nursing standards. Administering medications, performing treatments, responding to call lights, assisting with patient transfers, and promptly addressing alarms to maintain high-quality care. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and refine treatment plans based on patient responses and current best practices. Accurately processing and implementing physician/provider orders in a timely manner to support effective patient recovery. Following up on medication changes and clarifying orders to maintain continuity and safety in care delivery. Desired qualifications and experience: Current RN license with PACU experience. Strong knowledge of operative procedures related to ambulatory surgery. Ability to effectively assess and manage post-operative patient care needs.
