A healthcare facility in Plano, TX is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) experience for a contract position. This role is ideal for nursing professionals who have experience in day surgery, preoperative (preop) care, or post-anesthesia care and are familiar with Meditech electronic medical record systems. Schedule/Hours: Four 10-hour shifts per week Shift hours: 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care in post-anesthesia recovery settings Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia following day surgery procedures Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and comfort Utilize Meditech for accurate documentation and communication of patient care Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient education and support Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and facility protocols Desired
