Schedule / Hours Rotating shifts between 07:00-19:30, 11:00-23:30, and 19:00-07:30 Every other weekend off Typically rotating every 4-6 weeks Day shift option: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00) Qualifications / Desired Experience Current RN license in Pennsylvania or compact nursing license CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required Trauma experience highly preferred Experience working in a fast-paced emergency room environment Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system is a plus No floating to other units; dedicated Emergency Department assignment Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends as scheduled Responsibilities Deliver urgent medical care and nursing interventions to patients in the emergency room Monitor patient conditions and administer treatments as prescribed Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to stabilize patients Document patient care accurately using Cerner system Respond to trauma and critical care situations effectively Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards This role is ideal for emergency nurses looking for contract work with a clear schedule and focused responsibilities.
