(HHI) is a full‑service family restaurant chain, well known for serving “Any Meal. Any Time.” Founded in 1964, it operates nearly 400 franchise‑owned and 30 corporate‑owned locations across 21 U.S. states, primarily in the Southeast and Central regions. Position Overview The Restaurant Server will oversee the day‑to‑day operation of first‑class customer service and food service in the restaurant. Responsibilities include properly receiving food orders, coordinating with the kitchen, ensuring prompt food delivery, and maintaining cleanliness of the serving section. The role requires a strong commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork with franchise partners. Responsibilities Report to work on time, in clean uniform with a positive attitude. Greet all customers with a smile and a verbal greeting: “Good Morning” or “Welcome to Huddle House.” Review the menu with customers when needed, suggestively sell products, and take orders at the table. Submit tickets to the cook’s station using approved abbreviations and deliver food promptly when ready. Handle money, ring up tickets using the POS system, and make proper change. Ensure all tickets are rung up and closed before shift end. Complete the position checklist, stocking, and prep duties for the next shift. Keep the store clean: buss tables, sweep and mop floors, clean bathrooms and walls. Report safety concerns and customer complaints to the manager immediately. Know and follow menu highlights, daily features, and suggested add‑ons. Follow Huddle House steps of service to maximize shift sales. Practice all safety, food handling, cash security, and other restaurant policies. Perform all duties with a sense of urgency and control waste for food cost management. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications Excellent customer service skills. Effective communication with all restaurant staff. Some previous restaurant experience preferred. “Can‑do” attitude and willingness to work through shifts.
