This contract role offers the opportunity to provide critical care in a cardiac medical/telemetry unit with a 37-bed capacity, working 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Flexible scheduling includes 36 and 48 hours per week options, with weekend shifts required (one per week or two every other weekend) and at least one holiday shift during the 13-week contract. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a cardiac med/telemetry unit Utilize EPIC charting system effectively for accurate documentation Float to other units as needed to support facility operations Participate in charge nurse duties with provided training Adapt to flexible scheduling needs to align with unit demands Qualifications: Active New York RN license NIH and AHA BLS certifications Minimum 1 year recent experience in acute med-surg or telemetry (2 years preferred) For non-U.S. candidates, 2 years of U.S. work experience required Willingness to work night shifts and holiday coverage Ability to reside more than 50 miles from the facility Location Highlights: Nestled near scenic Lake Ontario, Webster, NY offers a blend of suburban comfort and outdoor recreation.
