Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years ICU nursing experience Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills Preferred: Experience in MICU or MSICU, exposure to IABP and CRRT Familiarity with Meditech documentation system is a plus Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions Perform procedures such as chest tube management, intubations, central and arterial line care, and insertion of NG tubes and Foley catheters Adhere strictly to unit protocols including timely shift attendance, documentation, and professional dress code standards Comply with floating policies as necessary Schedule: 7A - 7:30P or 7P - 7:30A shifts Rotating weekends Guaranteed 36 hours per week Location Insight: Boerne, TX, is a charming city known for its scenic Hill Country landscapes, vibrant community events, and historic downtown.
