Provide skilled nursing care as a Registered Nurse in a dynamic hospital setting, focusing on patient management in the Universal Care Unit and assisting with overflow care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the Universal Care Unit and support overflow patient needs in Medical-Surgical and Medical-Surgical Telemetry units Float within hospital departments as needed based on unit census Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans Monitor and document patient conditions accurately during 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Maintain compliance with hospital policies and standards of care Qualifications/Desired Experience Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 2 years of clinical experience Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications Experience working in medical-surgical and telemetry patient care preferred Prior travel nursing experience is a plus Availability to work Thursday through Saturday blocks exclusively (non-negotiable) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) not required Schedule/Hours Night shifts only: 3 shifts of 12 hours each, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Thursday through Saturday block This is a contract opportunity ideal for nurses who value professional growth and want to make an impact in diverse clinical settings.
