Activity Director

Position Overview As the Activity Director, you will design and implement a diverse calendar of programs that promote meaningful engagement, enhance quality of life, and support the unique interests and abilities of our residents. You’ll be responsible for coordinating group activities, one-on-one interactions, community events, and intergenerational programs in collaboration with our dedicated interdisciplinary team.
What We’re Looking For
A dynamic leader with strong organizational and communication skills
Prior experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting
Certification as an Activity Professional (or willingness to obtain)
Enthusiasm, compassion, and a true desire to make a difference in the lives of seniors
Responsibilities Include
Planning and executing a comprehensive monthly activity calendar
Supervising and mentoring activity staff and volunteers
Coordinating resident outings and special events
Ensuring all programming meets regulatory and person-centered care standards
Collaborating with nursing and social services to support individualized plans of care
