R0003939Academy of Art University is seeking a Lab Technician to work within our School of Animation & Visual Effects for the Spring 2026 Semester. This position will work closely with our students utilizing our lab resources. Ideal candidates will have exceptional customer service skills, a love for the arts, and the ability to work with a diverse student body. This is an on-site position, located in San Francisco.**Responsibilities:*** Perform junior-level network administration for Windows and Mac network environment* Perform software and hardware installation, troubleshooting and upgrades* Assist students with any software/hardware issues that may arise* Work in coordination with the front desk to ensure the smooth workflow* Provide support and assistance to the Department Director* Provide support to department for Spring Show and other events as needed.* Provide excellent customer service. Provide a cordial and friendly presence to students, faculty and staff.* Maintain guidelines set forth by the Academy of Art University* Maintain a clean, functional and productive learning environment* Protect equipment from theft or vandalism* Perform other duties as assigned**Compensation:**$22.00/hour**Application Deadline: January 26, 2026***Academy of Art University is based solely in San Francisco, California.
