AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that keep the cloud running. You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply‑chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to help deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing capacity at the lowest possible cost.
Key Job Responsibilities
Scale support across several data‑center locations and manage day‑to‑day capacity planning.
Collaborate with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution per Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers.
Leverage experience supporting large‑scale, enterprise‑class networks in implementation and troubleshooting.
Participate in migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
Maintain AWS’ vast network infrastructure, refine operational procedures, and establish best practices.
Physical Requirements
Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
Work in a 24/7 environment with the ability to participate in primary responder rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed.
Work in cramped, elevated, and/or noisy environments.
Engage in bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing, and walking for up to 8+ hours a day.
Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
1+ year of computer networking experience.
High school or equivalent diploma.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly salary: $27.00 – $47.00 USD (USA, OR: Boardman, Hermiston, Umatilla).
Amazon package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
